Victoria and her fiancee ( I keep forgetting his name cause alcohol moment) are both awesome bartenders they really stick up for their guests when they voice discomfort and they push through all the late night rushes like champs. Besides them i love the arcade portion and live music is awesome my only gripe is so many other people were rude impolite and loud just to be loud when its unnecessary. I think an establishment is as good as its guests and staff and so many were handsy and pushing each other. A bunch blatantly disregard posted rules and have little to know respect for the hardworking staff im not sure what the solution is for that however some people needa get it together and have fun so its a safe and fun space for everyone to enjoy. Live music was always dope and nice to see people coming together on the dance floor. All in all love going just not when its so slammed.

What a literal funhouse! Our bartender, Quinn, was an absolute vibe. Fairly priced drinks, open pool tables, can't go wrong! Tonight was our second time there but we will definitely be back next time we are in the area. No food served on Sundays fyi

Great outside deck with tables and cornhole. Old school video games. Fantastic music. Bartender, I did not catch his name, (young, dark hair) was super fun and helpful. Friendly patrons made us feel at home. Highlight of our time in Anchorage.

Review from a visiting tourist! This jaunt exceeded our wildest expectations! We were a little timid looking at the website and pulling in the park lot but PLEASE if you are visiting or trying for the first time just go in. The bartenders are fantastic and make you feel comfortable and the place is just incredible to look around, even if you aren’t the “bar type”. They have memorabilia, arcade games, and table games so there’s plenty to do besides the events. Cannot recommend enough if you are visiting Alaska it’s just such an experience and treat to walk through. Bonus, we went on an open mic Monday and was so entertained and enjoyed all the lovely acts. Don’t hesitate, just go and enjoy!

a MUST GO TO spot, this was the most fun bar i've ever been too, it's sooo much bigger inside than i expected, and the vibes were immaculate. a local recommended me going here while i was on vacation and im so glad, everyone that was working was super nice, it was really busy but the drinks were still coming out fast

Koots has so many highlights that this review honestly doesn’t even scratch the surface. The food is great, the music is always solid, and there’s constantly something going on, from comedy night and open mic to the arcade and pool tables. No matter when you go, there’s always something to do and a good crowd to do it with. What really makes Koots stand out is the overall vibe. It’s energetic, welcoming, and never feels pretentious. Whether you’re there with a big group, meeting up with friends, or just stopping in to enjoy the atmosphere, it’s easy to feel comfortable and have a good time. It’s a true Anchorage staple and one of those places you keep coming back to because there’s always more to experience. Definitely worth checking out, more than once.

This was my experience, and I am happy with it. I was treated well by everyone who works there. It is nice to see the security team always in a friendly mood as they can be intimidating if they want to be, but they are there to keep us safe and having fun. I enjoy the variety of areas, and I love watching the flow of people moving from one bar to another. Weekends are crowded, but do not be intimidated, just be cautious and self-aware, and you wll be just fine.

Like no other bar you'll ever find. Its like a food court of bars with a quirky alaskan twist. For certain events it's shoulder to shoulder. Other times it's like an empty castle. The decor alone is worth a visit. Great "drunk" food to share. There's a pinball machine room! Some pretty epic bands have come through too.

This is my absolute favorite bar in Anchorage! You won’t find something like this anywhere else. As a younger women, I feel extremely safe here. The drinks are great, fast and affordable! The atmosphere is great, there’s a place for everyone. Rather you like arcade games, pool or just want to listen to music and dance. There are multiple areas and “rooms” which are all differently themed. The last one is my favorite! A MUST if in Anchorage!
